I was sexually abused by my mother and have found it difficult finding support. I seen a therapist for a year and she seem to have a hard time with this as well.

My sister was my abuser, and we act like nothing has ever happened between us. It was recently her birthday and she always gets mad at me around that time.

I was in an incestual relationship with my father from the age of 13-18. I'm so confused. I don't know if I am the victim because I do know that at some point I knew what I was doing.

It has been brought to our intention that someone signed up for an account on the site and has been sending out private messages to our members asking for information and for members to e-mail her.

I am a 34 year old woman, and this is the first time I am sharing that I am an incest survivor with others.

Feeling numb today. Any day now my grandfather is going to know I told. The police are making a trip down to visit him and see if he will admit to sexually abusing me in my childhood.

I've been considering posting my story up for a little while now. I nearly did the other day, but got interrupted.

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I might not be able to reply very much for the next few days.

I never realize how much damage they actually caused me. Now that im evaluating my current relationship and situation i can see the scars. Why is this so common? How can we protect our children?

Ive been thinking alot about my childhood lately. I was molested by both my male siblings. I finally spoke about it as an adult and everyone brushed it off.

What's the difference? I'm curious to know what the difference is between incest and rape?

My grandfather abused me and my sister at a very young age. It went beyond normal sexual abuse.

Hi, all. Throughout much of my adult life, my childhood memories have been fragmented. This is due to emotional trauma. I typically have a very good memory. No history of drug or alcohol abuse.

I feel like its always the same thing. Like my life is repeating in cycles. Its hard, and the hardest part is hearing people say " I understand". Its a nice thought, but its a lie.

I would really like someone to talk to . I dont have friends (my choice) fake family. Does anyone need to talk also? We may be able to help each other...even if its just a little.

Its been a long time since I have posted or visited this group. I have a tendency to ignore and dismiss the desire to reach out because it makes me feel weak and guilty.
